We like to think so. We provide frequent updates to Candid (formerly Guidestar), a nonprofit rating organization, which has consistently ranked us among us the most transparent charities in the USA.

While we are physically located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, we proudly serve communities all across our wonderful state and even some of those in border states (currently Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska). As our organization grows we hope to expand to even more communities across the USA, so stay tuned for more details to come.

No, we do not ask for proof of income or insurance status when renting equipment through Owen's Outfitters or requesting a Hope Scholarship. However, as several of our projects are grant-funded, we may at times request certain voluntary information from you such as household income bracket, in order to serve both you and our grant providers better.

Donations can be dropped off by appointment at 1000 N. West Avenue, Suite 310, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. Please contact us at (605) 215-0884 or submit this equipment donation form to set up your appointment time and ensure a volunteer is available to greet you. After that, you can either call us at (605) 215-0884 or fill in an equipment request form here. Once we know what you need we'll walk you through the rest of the (very easy) steps.

The Legacy Trip is currently only open to medical students, staff, and faculty of the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.
