Position Summary

Responsible for the organization, cleanliness, and effectiveness of our warehouse operations, while also serving as the primary trainer and supervisor for back-of-house employees and volunteers. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, cleaning, inspecting, storing, and distributing donated medical equipment

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through use of WMS system

• Ensure the warehouse is organized, safe, and clean

• Improve policies and procedures to increase efficiency and consistency

Training & People Support

• Help create a welcoming, mission-driven environment for volunteers and customers

• Deliver onboarding and safety training for all staff and volunteers in the warehouse

• Serve as a point of contact for questions related to inventory and warehouse issues

• Maintain policies and procedures and provide coaching or retraining as needed

General Support

• Work with leadership to identify operational needs and improvements

• Assist with scheduling or coordinating volunteers as needed

• Support special projects related to warehouse growth and expansion

Additional Duties

• Serve as delivery driver for order fulfillment if and when necessary

• At times, employee may be required to perform additional duties beyond those identified above

 

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field

• Experience with providing training, guidance, and supervisory support of staff and volunteers

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift, move, and/or handle medical equipment weighing over 100 lbs

• Kindness, patience and understanding, as our clients include those who are struggling with illness, injury, or extended medical complications

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare, rehab, therapy, or assisting vulnerable populations

• Class B license preferred

• First Aid certified

Compensation

Salary: $55,000 per annum
